    Hi,
I sold our Quinny a while ago and now baby nr 2 is on its way. We’ve only kept the Dreami carrycot of the travel system as we thought it might come in handy again.
Now, we don’t really want to buy another Quinny Buzz again as they’re just too large and cumbersome.
Is there any other travel system which would fit the Dreami?

    Many thanks,

    Jan

The Speedi uses the Dreami as well but you may have a problem with the colours as they don’t use the same range. It’s unlikely another make would have the correct fittings but you could contact the manufacturers of the pushchair base you are interested in and ask??

Sorry you’re not happy with the Buzz.

    Best wishes

    Hi!

First time parents and a bit unaware of all safety requirements, we bought a second-hand Dreami Cot, only to discover later that the people had not included the safety strap…

How can we fix that? Is there any way to buy the safety straps separately? We are so upset!

    Thank you!

Oh dear! You could try ebay, but contacting the manufacturers is probably the best bet. Shouldn’t cost too much.

    Contact form here….. http://www.quinny.com/quinny/forms/contact.aspx?mode=contact&language=gb-en

We have bought a 2nd hand Quinny Freestyle that is about 4 years and i was wondering if we would beable to get hold of a carry cot that fits it? If not should the baby beable to face us in the seat from birth?
    Thanks

I’m not sue if the Freestyle could take a carry cot and I don’t think it’s manufactured anymore. Your best bet is to contact a supplier. You can find the most local one here http://www.quinny.com/ot-en/dealers

They should also be able to answer your other question unless someone else here can???

Sorry can’t be of more help. Good luck.

Could you tell me if the dreami speedi carrycots are compatible with the quinny buzz stroller and vice versa?

    Thanks

Hi there, I have heard conflicting views on whether the dreami carrycot can be used for baby to sleep in overnight…
Please can you tell me if it is safe or not. If it isn’t safe, can you tell me why, is it an issue with the mattress, in which case if I was to get another mattress can I use it overnight then?
Also, I have heard that the carrycot is not suitable to put on moses basket stands…Is this true and if it is what stand would be suitable to put the carrycot on?
Your advice would be gratefully appreciated as I’m very confused..:)
    Many thanks

    Hi Lizi

I wouldn’t like to say. But personally, a newborn isn’t going to move about much, so I would think the first few weeks would be fine. After that, the mattress could be an issue. The Quinni is heavier than a moses basket and you would need to check the weight limit for the moses stand.

If you are really worried, try contacting Quinny directly and ask their advice at http://www.quinny.com

    Anyone else got an opinion?
